(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung says Vietnam and Costa Rica need to jointly build mechanisms and promptly conduct negotiations for signing agreements on double tax avoidance and investment protection to boots two-way trade and investment. Dung made the statement at a reception for Costa Rican Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship Jose Enrique Castillo Barrantes in Hanoi on Monday. He highly valued the results of talks between Barrantes and Vietnamese Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh, and believed that the visit would contribute to strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries. The Vietnamese Prime Minister also called on both countries to continue supporting each other at multilateral forums and maintain their political consultations. He expressed his hope that Costa Rica would work to link Vietnam with other Latin American nations in economic, trade and investment cooperation.
