(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam confirmed 15,218 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, the Health Ministry announced.
With 1,910 new cases, Hanoi has recorded the highest number of daily infections for 8 consecutive days.
Vietnam has reported 1,651,673 cases so far. 1,248,240 patients have recovered and 31,214 have died.
More than 145 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered nationwide.
