(VOVWORLD) - A field hospital set up in New York City’s Central Park to treat Covid-19 patients will be closed as the number of new infections have been declined, said Samaritan's Purse, an international relief organization which runs the field hospital.

Samaritan’s Purse said the closure marks a significant turning point in the fight against coronavirus in New York.
Singapore’s Health Ministry on Saturday reported another 447 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the total number to 17,485.

In China, some public places, tourist sites, and entertainment areas in Beijing remain closed to avoid the spread of the pandemic. On April 30th, the authorities lowered the emergency response level for Beijing as the situation is getting better.
