On Friday, Vietnam recorded first death after COVID-19 vaccination, according to a notice of the Ministry of Health.
A 35-year-old female medical staff working at Tan Chau Region General Hospital in An Giang Province died of anaphylaxis on Friday after being injected with AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday.
The cause of her death was "anaphylaxis due to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug allergy," according to the professional council of An Giang Province's Health Department.

This is a very rare case in the vaccination against COVID-19, said the notice of the Ministry of Health.
