During a visit to Cambodian on Friday, the Party chief met a delegation of the Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Association led by Deputy Prime Minister Men Som On in Phnom Penh. He expressed his hope that the friendship associations of both countries will increase coordination to organize practical activities for each country’s prosperity.

Men Som On said the Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Association has disseminated information on the relationship between the two countries and encouraged people to contribute to developing bilateral ties.

The same day, Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong visited the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia. He told the Embassy staff and representatives of Vietnamese community that he received a warm welcome from the host country and that his current visit to Cambodia will be a success.
