(VOVworld) - Czech Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg has spoken highly of his 3-day visit to Vietnam,  which concluded on Friday. In an exclusive interview for VOV, he talked about the remarkable results of the visit: “I had useful talks with Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh. We also had in-depth discussions about bilateral and multilateral cooperation, ways to promote trade and exchange views of issues of regional and international concerns. I told the Minister that we are ready to create favorable conditions for Vietnamese entrepreneurs to do business in the Czech Republic. And we also welcome Vietnam to expand its investment in our country.”

The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister said the Vietnam-Czech Business Forum was held during the visit will surely open opportunities for  cooperation in the near future. The Czech Republic wants to invest in infrastructure, finance and science and technology in Vietnam. Mr. Schwarzenberg commented on the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic: “The Vietnamese community there is very large. Generations of Vietnamese studying and working the Czech Republic have been contributing to the development of the host country and they are a real bridge linking the two countries.

The Czech Republic provides scholarships to Vietnamese students and other assistance for Vietnamese community there.
