(VOVworld) – Visiting Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Phuong Nga had the 5^th political consultation session with her Iranian counterpart Seyyed Abbas Aragchi over the weekend. During her stay there, Nga met Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Massoud Movahedi and President of the Iran-Vietnam Friendship Association Seyed Kamal Sajjadi. During the meetings, both sides expressed their appreciation for recent encouraging developments in bilateral cooperation, particularly in politics, diplomacy, agriculture, education and training. Both sides agreed to organize activities to mark the 40^th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties, increase the exchange of visit and accelerate negotiations and signing of double taxation avoidance agreement as well as memoranda of understanding on cooperation in culture, customs, and plant quarantine.
