Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai asks for increased attention to land clearance

Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai has chaired separate meetings in Yen Bai and Lao Cai provinces on the progress of the Noi Bai – Lao Cai Highway project. Mr. Hai asked Hanoi, Vinh Phuc, and Yen Bai’s leaders to prioritize land clearance, and settlements for the project by the end of June at the latest, the provinces and cities involved must hand over the designated land to the contractors. The 245 km Highway will run through five provinces and cities and has a total investment capital of 96 million USD sourced from ADB loans. First started in 2009, the project is expected to complete by next year.
