(VOVworld)- Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung visited Vietnamese Embassy staff and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Japan.

He said he is in Japan to attend an international conference on the future of Asia and discuss with Japanese leaders and business people measures to boost bilateral cooperation, especially in infrastructure, one of the priorities of Vietnam’s development strategy until 2020. Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung called on the Vietnamese Embassy to fully implement agreements between the two countries’ leaders. He said: “The Embassy should uphold achievements and successfully fulfil its tasks, including economic development”. He urged the Embassy to work harder to protect citizens living in Japan and boost Vietnam-Japan ties. The Deputy PM also conferred the Prime Minister’s certificate of merit to the Embassy for its contributions to national patriotic emulation movements.
