Ethiopian people welcome President Tran Dai Quang's visit

(VOVWORLD) - Many Ethiopian people said they are happy at Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang’s visit to Addis Ababa and hope this will boost the bilateral cooperation in economies, investment, and tourism. Ethiopia’s State media have given wide coverage on the visit, which will take place on Thursday.

Mr. Suleiman, a taxi driver in Addis Ababa, said:
"The Vietnamese President will have working sessions with our country’s President, Prime Minister, and Ministers. This will be a good opportunity to develop bilateral ties. Many Vietnamese will come to Ethiopia to do business and work. We will have more jobs. You can invest in our big industrial zones. Both peoples will work together for national development. Ethiopia is famous for exporting coffee, agricultural products, and minerals."
President Quang’s visit is expected to open new business opportunities as Vietnamese goods are favored by Ethiopians. Ms. Kidist, hotel manager, said Ethiopia can provide Vietnamese partners with cooperation possibilities in technology exchange, agricultural development, infrastructure, telecommunication, and clothing.
"I think the visit will bring many cooperation opportunities and help develop Ethiopia’s countryside."
President Tran Dai Quang’s visit to Ethiopia is expected to open a new chapter in Vietnam-Ethiopia relations.
