EU finance ministers agree on Covid-19 rescue deal
(VOVWORLD) - European Union finance ministers agreed Thursday on a rescue package worth nearly 550 billion USD to help the hardest-hit countries cope with the coronavirus pandemic.

The agreement came after one unsuccessful meeting and a series of intense discussions on this matter. French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire called the deal “excellent” and said it will be followed by a stimulus fund.
