(VOVworld) – A delegation of the Women’s Union of Vientiane, Laos is working with their Vietnamese counterparts during their ongoing visit to Vietnam. In Hanoi, the delegation visited and shared their experiences on models to disseminate laws, vocational training for women, and care for disabled women and poor children. Nguyen Thi Tuyet is the Vice Chairwoman of Hanoi Women’s Union: "The Vientiane Women’s Union has shared with us their experiences in supporting women in poverty reduction, encouraging women to follow the laws, especially concerning traffic laws and promoting women’s role in taking part in socioeconomic development in the localities. They also showed interest in Vietnam’s new rural development program".
