(VOVworld)-A ceremony in recognition of outstanding ASEAN enterprises and their contributions to developing the region’s economy opened in Vientiane, Laos on Saturday.

Organised by the ASEAN Business Advisory Council, the event aims to honour exceptional ASEAN businesspeople who promote their company’s brand name in a global market and improve the quality of their products and services. In his congratulation letter, Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung praised the event’s significance in promoting friendship and cooperation as well as business linkages. A total of 86 businesses received the outstanding ASEAN enterprises award, famous brands and  business-related prizes for their contribution to the integration process in the ASEAN region.
