HCM city cooperates with Monash University to apply AI to smart transportation
(VOVWORLD) -The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction and Monash University of Australia have signed a research cooperation plan as part of the Memorandum of Understanding signed earlier in May in Melbourne.

The two sides will establish and operate a Joint Research Collaboration Office, focusing on the application of AI, Big Data, and Digital Twin models in smart traffic management. They will also offer advanced training programs for officials and engineers working in urban infrastructure and transportation.
Director of Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Construction Vo Hoang Ngan, said: "In addition to traditional management tools, we need smarter and more modern management systems. It’s also essential to foster domestic and international partnerships so we can access better technological solutions."
