The exhibition displays hundreds of photos of the consequences and impacts of the Agent Orange/ dioxin used by US troops during the war in Vietnam, and the difficult lives and care for Agent Orange victims. The event calls for community support for the victims.

During the war in Vietnam, the US army sprayed some 80 million liters of Agent Orange/ dioxin, seriously damaging the environment and human health. Eventually, some 4.8 million Vietnamese were exposed to dangerous toxins and about 3  million became direct victims of dioxin poisoning. Hanoi has more than 50,000 people who are exposed to the toxic chemicals.

The Hanoi Association for Victims of Agent Orange was established in 2004. So far the association has raised 31 billion VND to support Agent Orange victims, and has built houses for 230 families and provided medicine free of charge to 30,000 AO victims.
