(VOVworld) – Belarus welcomes Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong’s visit to raise bilateral relations to a new strategic level. Belarusian Ambassador to Vietnam told VOV about Vietnam-Belarus bilateral cooperation prior to Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong’s visit scheduled for this Sunday.
Valery Sadokho said the two countries’ economic and trade relations have not realized their full potential. Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong’s week-long visit will open new opportunities for economic, trade, educational, and cultural cooperation.
Sadokho said Vietnam and Belarus are finalizing negotiations on a Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.
