(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang received Major General Valery Vakulchik, President of Belarus’ State Security Committee in Hanoi on Wednesday. He said that in addition to politics and security Vietnam and Belarus should continue their cooperation in education, economics, trade, and telecommunications. He said he hoped that FTA negotiations between Vietnam and the Customs Alliance of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus will soon be completed. This will help to boost trade ties between Vietnam and the 3 European countries. President Sang said Vietnam treasured and wanted to promote its traditional friendship with Belarus. He proposed both countries increase visit exchanges and expand bilateral cooperation.
