Foreign friends sent condolences to late former PM Phan Van Khai

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese foreign missions have held memorial services to pay tribute to former Prime Minister Phan Van Khai, who passed away in Ho Chi Minh City on March 17.

At the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand, Thai Foreign Minister, Deputy Secretary of the Prime Minister Office and Chairperson of Thailand Vietnam Friendship Association and dozens of local delegations paid tribute to the former Prime Minister.

At the Vietnamese Embassy in Turkey, dozens of delegations paid tribute to the late former Prime Minister during three days of funeral book service from March 20 to 22.

Representatives from diplomatic corps of China, the US, India and Indonesia paid tribute to the late former Prime Minister at the Vietnamese Consular Office in Vancouver, Canada on March 22 and 23. Canadian Foreign Ministry representative and representative from Marxist Leninist Canada Party shared condolences at the Vietnamese Embassy in Canada.
