(VOVworld) - The Foreign Ministry has held a regular press conference on several foreign relations activities of Party and government leaders.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Luong Thanh Nghi commented on the situation in Syria: "Vietnam hasn’t got any overseas workers in Syria in a formal scheme. The Vietnamese Embassy in Turkey cum Syria have cooperated with the International Immigration Organization and the Embassy of the Philippines in Syria to bring three Vietnamese tourists home and keep an eye on the local situation. Once again, we urge relevant parties to practice restraint and look for a peaceful solution while respecting the UN Charter and international law for world peace and stability.”
