(VOVworld) – Chinese President Xi Jinping and French President Francois Hollande on Sunday agreed to steadily strengthen their countries’ comprehensive strategic partnership.

Meeting with Hollande on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Australia, Xi said that during his state visit to France in March, he and President Hollande agreed to bring the Chinese-French comprehensive strategic partnership into a new era.

Hollande said President Xi's visit to France has opened a new chapter in France – China relationship. Hollande said France is ready to strengthen communication and coordination with China on combating Ebola, or the Iranian nuclear issue, and on confronting terrorism.
