(VOVworld) – Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) Vu Xuan Hong has presented an insignia “for peace and friendship among nations” to chairwoman of China’s People-to-people Friendship Association Li Xiao Lin for her contributions to promoting friendship between the two peoples.

Mr. Hong said he hoped Li and other members of China’s People-to-people Friendship Association will continue to consolidate friendship between the two peoples. Over the years, they have cooperated with the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations to organize many activities including the Vietnam-China Friendship Festival, the Vietnam-China People’s Forum, and celebrations of the 65^th anniversary of Vietnam-China diplomatic ties.
