(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc praised the Government Office for doing a good job as he addressed the Office’s meeting on Friday to review performance in 2020 and work out plans for 2021.

The Prime Minister said that the government’s working apparatus must be good in line with the motto of a Government that facilitates and serves the people. He added the Government Office has advised the Government and the Prime Minister in disaster prevention, rescue efforts, and disbursement of public investment capital, and coordinated with other agencies in preparing draft documents of the 13th National Party Congress.
Prime Minister Phuc outlined future important tasks, saying, “The Government Office must accomplish the important task of formulating and implementing work programs and plans of the Government and the Prime Minister. It’s necessary to constantly improve the quality of advice in drafting, verifying and submitting documents and regulations. The Office must closely watch the situation and hot and sensitive issues of public concern, promptly propose appropriate solutions, advise policies and laws to fight group interests and corruption."
The Prime Minister instructed the Government Office to continue promoting administrative reform, listening to feedback and recommendations, and better serving the people and businesses.
