(VOVworld) – The central province of Ha Tinh has made breakthrough in economic development. At a meeting with Ha Tinh province’s authorities on Wednesday, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung hailed the province’s economic development, attracting investment capital of 20 billion USD and achieving average growth rate of 20 percent over the past 5 years.

The Prime Minister talked about the province’s future tasks: “The province needs to take drastic measures to fulfill this year’s socio-economic targets. It is essential to build the documents for the provincial Party Committee attached to the five-year socio-economic development plan to further develop Ha Tinh with higher competitiveness capability and better investment environment”.

The Prime Minister also asked the province to pay attention to investing in healthcare, culture, society, improving people’s living standards and administrative reform. Resources need to be mobilized to assure national security and social order.
