(VOVworld) – The Hanoi – Thai Nguyen section on national highway 3 was opened to public on Saturday.

The 63.8 km long section runs through 3 provinces Hanoi, Bac Ninh and Thai Nguyen. Construction of this section cost a total of 500 million USD, two thirds of which came from Japanese official development assistance. This has been the first highway section using Japanese ODA that has been completed and opened to public in Vietnam so far.
