HCMC, Sierra Leone raise relationship ​to new height

Nguyen Anh Thi, Head of the HCMC High-tech Zone, said that after 20 years of development the HCMC High-tech Zone has gained important results, contributing to high-tech economic development in HCMC and Vietnam in general.

The President of Sierra Leone said they want to strengthen bilateral ties with Vietnam, particularly in high-tech and innovative sectors. He wishes to maintain a long-term relationship and cooperation with HCMC.

The Sierra Leone delegation visited USM Healthcare Medical Devices Factory. It’s the first Vietnamese company to produce cardiovascular products such as PTCA Stent for domestic use and export.

Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Phan Van Mai received President on Saturday afternoon. The Sierra Leone delegation will leave HCMC to wrap up their official visit to Vietnam on Sunday.

President of the Republic of Sierra Leone Julius Maada Bio paid an official visit to Vietnam from March 14-20 at the invitation of President Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
