India, France sign important cooperation agreements
(VOVWORLD) -India and France have signed 14 bilateral agreements during French President Emmanuel Macron’s visit to India from March 9 to 12.

They included an agreement on cooperation in ensuring freedom of navigation in the Indian Ocean and an agreement to build a 9,900 megawatts nuclear power plant in western India by a French company. Both countries agreed to provide military logistics and open their naval bases to warships from each other.
