Insurance laws should be more practical

(VOVworld) - The Insurance Law should be revised as soon as possible to address practical requirements.
Deputy Prime Minister and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan made the remarks at a Wednesday working session with the Vietnam Social Insurance office to discuss matters related to social insurance for private and foreign-invested enterprises. Nhan urged early revisions and amendments to the Law on Social and Health Insurance to increase their effectiveness in practice while thoroughly checking the revised Health Insurance Law to be submitted for National Assembly approval at its 7th session next year.
He called on the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, and the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social affairs to share information for better management of enterprises and implementation of labor and health insurance policies.
