Six members of one family – a couple and their four children – were killed when an air strike levelled their home in Gaza City.

The Israeli military has not commented on the casualties that have been reported by the Palestinians. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) did confirm, however that fierce clashes occurred Thursday morning between Israeli soldiers and Hamas gunmen in northern Gaza.
