This has been the first time that Tokyo summons the Chinese ambassador under Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s administration. On Monday two Chinese maritime surveillance boats reportedly entered the waters of the islands. In recent weeks, the two countries sent military airplanes to the islands though conflicts have not happened. According to analysts, if the move is repeated, that will lead to increasing tension and a possible military conflict between the two countries.
