(VOVworld) - Lao Party General Secretary and President Choummaly Sayason on Thursday visited Hoa Binh province, where the preliminary meeting of the 2^nd Congress of the Lao People’s Party was held in 1971. Choummaly Sayasone was briefed on the province’s socio economic situation and the development of friendship between Hoa Binh and Luong Prabang province. He praised Hoa Binh province’s achievements last year and expressed his hope that the traditional friendship between the two provinces will further develop contributing to the special ties between the two countries.
