(VOVworld) - Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said government officials  and Gia Lai province’s authorities need to share economic development experiences to the Lao counterparts for mutual prosperity. While receiving visiting Laos Prime Minister Thongsin Thammavong in Gia Lai province today/ on Friday, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said: "The visit is a good opportunity to exchange experiences in socio-economic development between the two countries. In particular, Central Highlands provinces have similar conditions for growth as Lao provinces".

 Both parties expressed delight at their comprehensive partnership, co-operation in investment and growing trade. Lao Prime Minister Thongsin Thammavong said: "Our visit is aimed at learning Gia Lai’s experience in economic development. Gia Lai province has exerted its best effort to implement policies of the Party and State. On behalf of Laos Party and Government, we would like to express our deepest thank to Vietnamese Party and State for their assistance over the past years".

Gia Lai provincial People’s Committee handed 40,000 USD to Laos’ Luong Nam Tha and At Ta peu provinces.
