Laos speaks highly of Vietnamese top legislator’s official visit and attendance at AIPA-45
(VOVWORLD) - Vice President of the Lao National Assembly Sounthone Xayachak said Laos highly values Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man’s attendance at the 45th General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA-45), especially his insightful speech at the event.

Chairman Man’s proposals contributed significantly to the success of AIPA-45, he told a Vietnam News Agency reporter.
Boviengkham Vongdara, President of the Laos-Vietnam Friendship Association, said that the Vietnamese top legislator’s official visit to Laos and attendance at AIPA-45 demonstrates that Vietnamese leaders always attach great importance to traditional cooperation between the two countries.
It affirmed Vietnam’s strong and comprehensive support for Laos’ national construction and defense as well as showcased the trust and close bonds between senior leaders of the two Parties, States, and National Assemblies, he said.
