Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang said the ministry has basically fulfilled the targets set by the National Assembly in preventing and combating crime and law violations.
Mr. Quang underscored the need to focus on thwarting terrorist and sabotage plots and activities that incite protests to disrupt security and order by hostile and reactionary forces.
“Greater efforts should be made to implement sustainable solutions to curb crime and improve the quality and effectiveness of receiving and handling crime reports,” said Minister Quang.
The same day, legislators approved the revised Law on Notarization, the Urban and Rural Planning Law, and the revised Law on Value Added Tax.
