Although some incidents have been promptly detected and stopped, the abuse of AI to personalize scam behaviors is on the rise, Deputy Le Thi Thanh Lam from Can Tho city said.

She proposed adding a ban on using AI to impersonate faces, voices, or other technologies that fake organizations or individuals for fraud, distortion, or deception, infringing on citizens’ legitimate rights and interests.

Online child protection was another key topic. Deputy Le Thi Ngoc Linh from Ca Mau recommended extending protection to other vulnerable groups, including the elderly and people with disabilities.
