The polling stations were seriously damaged but no causalities have been reported. According to Russia’s Itar-Tass News agency, the bombings occurred after polling began at 8 AM local time. The High National Election Commision has confirmed the attacks. Local media said the polling stations were located at schools in Dena city and had no security. 3 years after the fall of the Kadafi regime, Libya is still struggling through a transition process. The election on February 20 was an important step in this transition. More than 1 million voters have cast their ballots.
