(VOVworld) - The southern province of Long An aims to pursue sustainable and harmonious development in both urban and rural areas. In its socio-economic development master plan by 2020 unveiled on Tuesday, the province will realize its full potential in line with national development strategy. The master plan sets a target of turning Long An to an industrial province by 2020 while improving people’s living standards as well as national defense and security. Speaking at the launching conference Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh said: “To achieve its target, Long An province needs to enhance cooperation with related ministries and provinces, business and the  investor community to initiate more investment incentive policies. A more detailed 5 year plan should be drafted to implement the master plan approved by the government.”
