(VOVWORLD) - Mahathir Mohamad, 92, was sworn on Thursday in as Malaysia’s Prime Minister, becoming the world’s oldest head of State.

The US, the UK, Singapore, and Vietnam delivered congratulations to Mr. Mohamad and said they hope to strengthen cooperation with Malaysia’s new government.
