Malaysian PM: no proof yet of MH370 hijacking

(VOVworld) – Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak said on Saturday there has been no final evidence to prove MH370 was hijacked.

But he said based on new satellite communication, the aircraft communication addressing system might be disabled before the aircraft reached the east coast of Malaysia. Speaking at a press conference on Saturday, Prime Minister Najib Razak said there was certain evidence showing that the aircraft was switched off deliberately. Malaysian authorities are now focusing their investigation on the crew and passengers on board. Prime Minister Najib Razak said authorities are now trying to trace the plane across two possible corridors — in the north to the border of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, and a southern corridor from Indonesia to the southern Indian Ocean.
