(VOVworld)- Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has asked the industrial manufacturing and trade sector to fulfill its tasks for this year. Addressing the sector’s conference in Hanoi on Friday, the PM stressed the need to focus on tackling production problems, reducing inventories and debts, helping enterprises obtain credit, expanding markets, simplifying administrative procedures and increasing tax incentives for enterprises. Dung urged the sector to pay attention to the domestic market and the campaign to encourage Vietnamese people to buy Vietnamese products. He said it’s important to strengthen state management, increase exports in combination with import control, enhance the growth model, and review the sector’s growth strategy. He added that restructuring state-owned enterprises and increasing the transparency of electricity and petrol prices are also focal tasks of the sector.
