At a conference in Hanoi on Tuesday on implementing healthcare activities in 2024, Deputy PM Khai instructed the Ministry to create guidelines for enforcing the revised Medical Examination and Treatment Law, and called for the submission of revised Pharmacy and Health Insurance Laws to the National Assembly.

The Ministry was tasked with improving organizational structures, boosting resource mobilization—especially through public-private partnerships—in the health sector, supporting autonomy in public health facilities, and promoting the development of private healthcare.

Mr. Khai urged the Ministry of Health to create suitable incentives and policies for medical establishments to access funding, including preferential loans from the Government and commercial loans for investments in facilities and equipment.

Deputy Prime Minister Khai awarded the Government's Emulation Flag to Cho Ray Hospital, Thong Nhat Hospital, and the National Hospital of Odonto Stomatology.
