(VOVWORLD) - The 14th Grand Prize of the Bui Xuan Phai Awards - For the Love of Hanoi 2021 has been given to musician Hong Dang for his outstanding contributions to the capital city’s music industry.

His works have become iconic about Hanoi such as Milk flower", "Memory about the city of childhood", "People of the Red River", "Hanoi charm", and "Singing on the city fortress".
In the context of the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 Awards attracted many entries. From 35 original works, the jury selected 11 nominations, including the Grand Prize; three nominations for the Art Award, four nominations for the Idea Award and three nominations for the Job Award.
The Grand Prize is the most important category of the Bui Xuan Phai Awards - For the love of Hanoi, which is conferred to those who "have made lifelong contributions to Hanoi with excellent works, ideas, deeds, and bonding with the capital city in his or her whole life and career."
