(VOVworld) - All 50 officials holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly (NA) passed the vote of confidence during the 13th legislature’s eighth session in Hanoi on Saturday.

The confidence vote was specified in three degrees: high confidence, confidence, and low confidence. The high confidence votes for President Truong Tan Sang were 76.46%, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung 64.39% and National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung 68.40%. National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan received the highest number of high confidence votes with 74.47%. The Ministers with the highest votes of high confidence were Minister of Transport Dinh La Thang with 72.84% and Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Van Binh with 64.99%. The high confidence votes for Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Minh Quang were 17.1% and 19.52% for Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tien.

National Assembly deputies passed a resolution verifying the results of the confidence votes. Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung said: “The National Assembly has followed all necessary regulations and procedures to conduct the vote of confidence on 50 positions elected or ratified by the National Assembly. The deputies have been responsible and impartial. The vote of confidence has been a success.”

Each deputy was given 11 ballots and had 30 minutes to complete their evaluations.
