NA Chairman attends AIPA-45 Executive Committee meeting
(VOVWORLD) - Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam Tran Thanh Man and other top legislators of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA)’s member countries attended a meeting of the AIPA Executive Committee in Vientiane on Friday.

Delegates approved the agenda for the AIPA-45 General Assembly, which includes the AIPA Executive Committee meeting, the AIPA Young Parliamentarians’ Meeting, the AIPA Committee on Social Matters, the AIPA Conference of Women Parliamentarians, and the AIPA Committee on Economic Matters, along with the signing of a joint communiqué.
Speaking at the meeting, Man expressed confidence that under the leadership of Lao National Assembly President Saysomphone Phomvihane, and with the thorough preparations by the Lao National Assembly, the AIPA-45 General Assembly will be a great success, contributing to enhancing the country's role and position in the region.
