(VOVworld) - The 13th National Assembly's Standing Committee held its 10th session on Monday to work on several draft laws and issues of public concern. Speaking at the opening session, NA chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung said that during its seven working days, the Committee will comment on some draft laws including the laws on natural disaster mitigation, fighting terrorism, the capital city, education and security, as well as amendments to the laws on cooperatives, energy, tax management, and lawyers.

As scheduled, three cabinet members, including Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Pham Thi Hai Chuyen, the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Van Binh, and the Government Chief Inspector Huynh Phong Tranh will explain progress on matters under their direction, such as workers’ insurance, handling the banks' bad debts and restructuring, and resolution of complaints and denouncements.
During today’s session, cabinet members will discuss the revised Draft Law, supplements to the Lawyer Law, and the establishment of the People’s Supreme Court’s Department of Emulation, Commendation and Political Work.
