(VOVworld)-The National Assembly Standing Committee on Friday commented on the proposal for vote of confidence on officials elected by the legislative body or People’s Councils. Delegates agreed on the importance of the proposal to promote the implementation of the Party resolution on Party building. Most members of the Standing Committee held that the positions eligible for vote of confidence should be from ministerial level upwards as well as officials of the People’s Councils and Committees in provinces. Head of the National Assembly’s Committee on Culture, Education and Youth, Dao Trong Thi:“Vote of confidence should be linked to the evaluation of  ministerial officials’ performance annually. It should be held in the National Assembly’s Committees and maintains as a regular practice.”
