NA’s next session to open on Oct.20, close on Dec.12

(VOVWORLD) -The 10th session the 15th National Assembly will open on October 20 and close on December 12, where deputies will decide on 45 draft laws and resolutions on legislative work as well as 13 groups of contents on socio-economics, state budget, oversight, and other national affairs.

The Standing Boards of the Party Committees of the National Assembly and the Government met on Monday in Hanoi to discuss preparation for the upcoming session. National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh co-chaired the meeting.
Prime Minister Chinh requested that the two agencies to coordinate closely and effectively; ministries and sectors work with the Fatherland Front in an open-minded spirit to listen to the opinions of the people and experts to meet requirements on processes, quality and progress.
National Assembly Chairman Man said the two sides need to coordinate in the spirit of solidarity. He emphasized that the session will be a shared success of the Government and the National Assembly under the leadership of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat and General Secretary To Lam.
