NA’s year-end session scheduled to last 42 days

Lawmakers will consider and decide on 43 draft laws and resolutions on legislative work, 12 groups of issues related to the economy, the state budget, and oversight, along with other key matters.
The draft laws include the merger of the Cybersecurity Law and the Law on Cyber Information Security, the revised Personal Income Tax Law, and the E-Commerce Law.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that by the end of the year, the legislature faces a heavy workload, including preparations for the 14th National Party Congress in January 2026 and the elections of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term, slated for March 15, 2026.
