(VOVworld) – A high ranking National Assembly delegation led by National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung on Sunday left Hanoi for the Republic of Korea and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. The visits from July 21-26 are at the invitation of Speaker of the Republic of Korea’s National Assembly Kang Chang-hee and Speaker of the Myanmar Parliament cum Speaker of its Upper House Khin Aung Myint. Chairman Hung’s tour is aimed at implementing the Vietnamese National Assembly’s diplomatic activities, contributing to the foreign relations policy of the 11th National Party Congress and simultaneously underlining Vietnam’s unswerving policy in regards to relations with the two countries. The visits also help maintain the development of relations, particularly the high-level visits, to strengthen mutual understanding and trust and the relations between Vietnam, the Republic of Korea and Myanmar in a sustainable, practical and effective manner. Through the visits, Vietnam’s profile will be enhanced in international arena, while its international integration is accelerated.
