(VOVworld) – National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung and National Assembly deputies of Ha Tinh province on Saturday met with voters in Phu Viet commune in Thach Ha district. They briefed the voters on the outcomes of the just concluded National Assembly session.

Nearly 300 voters of Thach Ha district praised the responsibility of National Assembly deputies, particularly during the Q&A session as well as the vote of confidence on the officials elected and ratified by the National Assembly. National Assembly Chairman Hung acknowledged voters’ suggestions to a number of draft laws, particularly the draft revision to the 1992 constitution and the revised land law. He said the people should continue to supervise and support National Assembly activities and the vote of confidence at the grassroots level. He said the vote of confidence will create unity in the party and trust in the people and will help to consolidate the political system: “Voters should supervise activities by People’s Councils at provincial, district, and communal levels. I ask provincial leaders to let the local be involved in the monitoring of votes of confidence collection in Ha Tinh. National Assembly deputies, the representatives of the people, should be objective and honest”.
