(VOVworld) – The 7th session of the 13th National Assembly on Friday morning discussed the revised Investment Law and amendments and supplements to the Law on Enforcement of Civil Judgments. In the afternoon, deputies voted on amendments and supplements to the Law on Health Insurance and debated the draft resolution on votes of confidence on officials elected or approved by the National Assembly and People's Councils.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said in Thursday’s Q&A session that Vietnam’s economy doesn’t depend on any other economy but it’s not totally independent. The Government advocates greater economic autonomy, which would enable a flexible response to developments. That’s why it has proposed economic restructuring and growth model changes. Phuc stressed the need to diversify both import and export markets. Regarding the 750-million-USD aid package passed by the National Assembly to build large, modern fishing vessels, Phuc said the government will issue guidelines on using this package by early July.
